The DAHAD 13 inch is a small ceramic kamado with a thick wall, a built-in thermometer and a 32 cm cooking tray. It is sold for patios and camping, though its weight points more towards a fixed spot on a terrace. For a couple or small family wanting a slightly larger grate than other 13 inch models, it is worth a look.

Our take
Materials and wall thickness
DAHAD lists a mix of ceramic, stainless steel, bamboo and cast iron, which it describes as rust and heat resistant. The ceramic wall is about 20 mm thick, similar to the London Sunshine models, to keep heat in and spread it evenly.
The dome and top cap design is meant to help airflow and reduce how much charcoal you burn.
The stated temperature range
The maker quotes 50 to 800 °F, about 10 to 427 °C. The bottom figure is below anything a charcoal fire would usually sit at, so read it as a statement of flexibility rather than a working setting. In practice, the range covers smoking, low-temperature cooking, baking, grilling and broiling, all of which the listing names.
A built-in thermometer lets you read the dome temperature without lifting the lid.
Grate size and weight
The cooking tray is 12.6 inches, about 32 cm, which gives a bit more room than the 11 inch grate in the London Sunshine 13 inch. The grill measures 50 x 50 x 47 cm overall.
Weight is the catch. At 31.5 kg it is heavier than the 13 inch London Sunshine at 22.6 kg and almost double the Char-Griller Akorn Jr. Bamboo handles help, but this is not something you will want to carry far.
Gaps to check
The listing does not describe the stand, gasket, vent materials or warranty. An identical listing appears under another brand name with the same text and measurements, so compare sellers and check what each one supplies in the box before ordering.
If you do buy it, budget for a cover and a heat-resistant base. A ceramic kamado that sits outdoors through wet winters benefits from staying dry, and the listing does not say that either item is included.
Verdict
The DAHAD 13 inch suits someone who wants a small ceramic kamado with a slightly larger grate and a thermometer, and who will leave it in one place. If you want stated vents and gasket, the London Sunshine 13 inch is better documented, and the Char-Griller Akorn Jr is the lighter option for travel.
