Our take

Burner and grill

Weber rates the stainless steel burner at 4.1 kW and says it reaches up to 316°C. The cooking surface is 53 x 38 cm according to the title, with space for up to 12 burgers. One bullet quotes a 1 cm² grilling surface, which is plainly a typo.

The grates are porcelain-enamelled cast iron in two sections and are described as dishwasher safe, a handy detail on a balcony with no outdoor tap.

Controls and smart hub

Electronic ignition lights the burner at the push of a button. A lid thermometer shows the temperature and a removable grease tray collects fat.

The Q2100N works with the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub, available separately. With the hub, Weber says you can monitor food temperature remotely and receive notifications when it is time to turn or serve.

Size, weight and placement

With the lid closed, the grill is about 42 cm high, 76 cm wide and 50 cm deep. The bullets give 13.5 kg, while the spec sheet says 18 kg, so allow for the heavier figure if you plan to carry it often.

The listing names neither a stand nor side tables, so plan a sturdy surface that copes with heat. The listing says no assembly is required, and Weber states five years of EU spare parts and a two-year manufacturer warranty.

Q2100N against the stand models

The Weber Q 2200N has a larger 57 x 41 cm grill with the same 4.1 kW, but comes with a stand and side tables at 34 kg. The Weber Q 1200N with stand gives a smaller 1,290 cm² grill and 2.93 kW. The Weber Q2000 Titanium is an older 54 x 39 cm Q with Piezo ignition.

Verdict

The Q2100N suits families who want a large, powerful Q grill they can lift onto a table or take camping. If you have no suitable table, the Weber Q 2200N brings its own stand and tables, and couples with a small balcony may prefer the Q 1200N with stand.
