The Q2000 Titanium is an earlier generation of Weber's mid-size Q barbecue, finished in a titanium colour and fitted with a side table. It suits buyers who want a large tabletop grate for a patio or balcony and do not need the latest features. The 54 x 39 cm split cast iron grill is the main attraction, very close in size to newer family Q models.

In its favour

  • A split enamelled cast iron grill gives a 2,106 cm² area in a body only 36.9 cm tall.
  • A continuously adjustable valve gives fine control over the flame, says the listing.
  • Integrated aroma rails sit between burner and food to vaporise drips.

Good to know

  • Piezo ignition is an older system than the electronic ignition on newer Q models.
  • This is an earlier Q generation; check that spare parts are still listed by Weber.

Our take

What the listing details

Weber's bullets describe a continuously adjustable valve for temperature control, a split grill made from enamelled cast iron, Piezo ignition, integrated aroma rails and a grill surface of approximately 54 x 39 cm. The spec sheet gives 2,106 cm², 2,640 W and 8,500 BTU.

Aroma rails sit above the burner, catching drips and turning them to smoke for flavour while shielding the flame.

Older ignition and controls

Piezo ignition creates a spark when you press the button, with no batteries needed, but it is an older approach than the electronic ignition on current Q models. The single burner is controlled with the continuously adjustable valve.

A split grill means you can swap one half for a griddle plate or another accessory if you have one, while keeping the other half for grilling.

Size and weight

The grill measures about 130.6 cm wide with its table out, 49.6 cm deep and 36.9 cm high, and weighs 18.2 kg. That width means a big table or a stand is needed. Assembly is required.

Because this is an earlier Q generation, check that Weber still lists spare parts such as burners and grates before buying. The titanium finish is a cosmetic choice, but it does show grease marks less than a pale colour would, which helps a grill that lives outdoors look tidy.

Q2000 Titanium or a newer Q?

The Weber Q2100N offers a 53 x 38 cm grill, a 4.1 kW burner, electronic ignition and Weber Connect hub support. The Weber Q 2200N adds a larger 57 x 41 cm grill, a domed lid and a stand with side tables. The Weber Spirit E-210 moves to two burners on a cart.

Verdict

The Q2000 Titanium suits buyers who want a big tabletop Q grate with a side table and are happy with Piezo ignition, provided parts are still listed. If you want the latest burner and ignition, the Weber Q2100N is the modern equivalent, and the Weber Q 2200N is the better choice if you also need a stand.
